creatures &pretty things

It is almost the weekend, and I am ITCHING to vacuum the floors and ladybugs that are vacationing on the windows of the bathroom & upstairs bedroom. Since I last vacuumed (last weekend) they've come back in droves and are repulsive. I saw a misquito joining them this morning, and didn't know whether to get hopeful for warmer weather or to get more annoyed that more species are coming in. The snow falling outside made it hard to celebrate any hint of warm weather.

SO to counteract these annoyances, I am trying to focus my thoughts on the prettier things in our house (see below) and the new additions of the week; our washer&dryer arrives today, and my parents got us that old table we saw!! Also, it is almost the weekend and my love Jamie is coming home so really life is great :)

Our wedding dishes&glasses finally have a home!! Love them so much.

Waiting for the "chimney doctor" to check that our chimney is nest-free so we can start a fire!

In love with this precious card from my lovely Cat! It matches our kitch so it's temporarily found a home on the mantle but I think it's a framer :)
